Bitwarden Setup

Bitwarden is a password manager that is able to be setup on all your devices for seamless access and storage to all your passwords. Also included in Bitwarden is a password generator, so you can easily generate secure random passwords.

‍ ‍Initial Setup

  1. Open the email from Bitwarden and press Join Organization now.

  2. .In the webpage that opens create a password.

    A. This should be more complex and different from other passwords you've used before.

    B. The password hint isn't required.

  3. Once completed please follow the instructions for setting up on your phone and in your browser.

Bitwarden Initial Sign In

Chrome Instructions

    1. Open the app store and search for Bitwarden Password manager and install.

    2. After opening click accept for the Accessibility Service Disclosure. Then click login.

    3. Under Email Address click the blue Bitwarden.com drop down and select Self-hosted.

    4. For the Server URL enter https://password.thebeastonline.com and click save.

    5. Login with your email and password.

Bitwarden Mobile App Setup

Chrome Instructions

  1. Open chrome and go to https://chromewebstore.google.com/ and sign in with the email and provided password.

  2. Search for Bitwarden Password Manager and add to chrome.

    1. You can ignore and close the tab that opened taking you to the Bitwarden page.

  3. Click the puzzle icon in the top right and select Bitwarden.

  4. Click login.

  5. At the bottom of the page where it says accessing click bitwarden.com and change it to self-hosted.

  6. For the Server URL enter https://password.thebeastonline.com.

  7. Login with your email and password.

  8. In the top right click the 3 dots and select settings at the bottom.

  9. Go to Autofill and passwords then click Addresses and more.

  10. Disable save and fill address and Use and save Addresses from your google account.
